In other news, the Red Hot Chili Peppers latest double CD, 28 track album: Stadium Arcadium was #1 in the Billboards last week selling a monstrous 442,000 copies within the opening week.

Their 2002 effort By The Way sold a little over half this amount (282,000 copies) and coming in 2nd on the first week Billboards.

Their 1999 release, Californication debuted even lower than the latest two coming in at 189,000 and ranking #3 on the Billboards.

In a previous post I made Flea’s Heart Broken By Us, Flea posted a huge complaint on his online journal about the early leak of his upcoming album. From the album sales alone Flea shouldn’t be complaining whatsoever. Like I said before, the fans who love the band will buy the album and show support. Regardless of the leak RHCP came up on top. I really wish he would send out an apology letter because the majority of people that downloaded the album early were the fans. Oh well.
