Of course this isn’t anything new to the GJ/HA regulars since he’s been saying the same thing month after month but here’s what he said in the latest AP magazine:

We’ve been working on a few songs in the studio. We’ve done a bunch of tracking on 4 songs so far. We really want to get MP3’s to the kids who have been waiting. It’s really important to get somthing out as soon as possible, But in the big picture, we’ve been slowly working on a new album. [guitarist Justin] Beck has a studio in his house that hes been beefing up [with recording equipment]. I’d hope to have a new album in 2007.But i’d hope we’d have some new songs releasing this year. The energy in that band is something i’ve never seen before-and thats not because I’m part of it.

What can I say? I’m not getting my hopes up about the MP3s as promised above. In the past we’ve been told we’d get some Head Automatica demos (back in October) but never got any officially released ones. All I have obtained were some incomplete demo CDs (Pre-surgical Testing, Post-Surgical Testing, and III Remixed) that were not intentionally put out.

Well, summer is right around the corner and we havent seen either. Luckily, they put out a little teaser video. I guess that will have to hold us over.

Will we get MP3s this year of upcoming Glassjaw? If not, let’s just hope he keeps his main band going for a 2007 release. Okay okay, lets just say it’s going to be a 2008 release since I’m sure it’s going to get delayed. Oh well. Keep your fingers crossed kiddies.
