Are you sick of the same questions being asked when someone interviews Daryl from Head Automatica? I know I am.
So next Thursday I will be interviewing Head Automatica and I would like to have your input! If you want to have any questions asked, please do this:
On the comment section of this page, please leave your valid e-mail address, your name, and your City and State (as I may make reference to you as I ask).
Preferably, don’t ask questions that have been asked before or are unanswerable (such as What’s the status of Glassjaw?)

Will the leaked demos like Granada, Boy Crazy, and others ever be played live? What about Continental Divide, which used to be played live-can we look forward to any of those “rarities” being played live again/ever?
What was the process for picking which songs to include on the new album? There were a lot of leaked demos that fans really loved but didn’t get put on the album, is there a future for those songs?
Will there be another HA headlining tour before Glassjaw goes into the studio or other side projects are pursued?

What really happened with Dan the Automator? Why did he not feel inclined to work on this latest project? Was it due to being unavailable due to other projects or were you guys trying to be more independent with this session?

On the FUSE interview (June 13th), you guys mentioned that “Lying through your teeth” was going to be the next single. Does that mean you’ll be making a video for it? and if so, do you have a treatment for it yet?

I’ve heard rumors about Daryl indulging in some less-than-straight-edge behavior in recent years, which is understandable. Is drinking, etc. dangerous for people with Crohn’s disease? I would hate to see you spending any more time in the hospital!

Whose idea was it to include the remix of Beating Heart Baby at the end of Popaganda, and how do you feel about this?
Daryl, you have appeared on songs by many different bands, including Christiansen, Every Time I Die and Finch. How often do you get offers from bands, and how do you decide which tracks to appear on?
Daryl, why did you decide to get involved in the Roadrunner United Project? Is it true Glassjaw’s relationship with Roadrunner Records was strained towards the end?

There is an apparent difference in both HA albums. Both almost having completly different sounds. Is this something that will continue with future albums? Between all the tracks that were cut from both sessions it would seem you could make a very dark and much slower record? Is this a possibility?
Are there any plans to have a “Cardboard City Tour” including HA, Cage, Yak..etc?

Do you have any plans to officially release the trip hop-ish tunes from the Decadence demo - “Sacramental Narcotics”, “198x”, etc.? That would be really cool. Those songs are amazing.

1) Do you guys pick out your own clothing or does someone do it for you? Cause you guys dress pretty sweet.
2) Will Head Automatica be doing any meet & greets on the upcoming Popaganda tour? If so I hope to see you guys at the Hartford,CT show!
3) How has Daryl’s health been latley? I know you’ve been canceling shows and I just wanted to make sure everything was alright.
