Unfortunately, Head Automatica has cancelled tonight’s appearance (August 25th, 2006) @ College of Charleston in Charleston, SC and tomorrows appearance (August 26th, 2006) @ The Roxy in Atlanta, GA due to Daryl being ill. Here’s the statement posted in a Head Automatica Myspace bulletin:

Lead singer, Daryl Palumbo, who suffered from a relapse of Crohn’s Disease is hospitalized and receiving treatment:

“As I sit here in the hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina, I can’t help but feel terrible for falling ill cancelling the show tonight in Charleston and tomorrow in Atlanta,” said Head Automatica’s Daryl Palumbo. “I promise to see you all soon, I am sorry for the inconvenience I may have caused. THANK YOU to everyone who has purchased a ticket and supports my band in anyway, we will rock for all of you soon. I appreciate your understanding. Hugs.”

Although it is uncomfortable and recurring, the disease is not life threatening, and upon release from the Hospital Daryl and Head Automatica will finish the remaining dates of the current tour.

Luckily, Men, Women & Children and company are still playing so all is not lost.
