Official Statement from Larry Gorman

First of all I just want to thank everyone for their support. I would just like to make it clear to you all that in no way did I leave this band. I was told by Daryl through management not to come back. This is due mostly to the fact that the relationship between Daryl and I has slowly been deteriorating over the last couple of years. We simply have lost faith in each other. These things happen and with Daryl it seems to be more often than not. I wish things could have ended differently being that I stood by his side for so many years in and out of hospitals on tour but I guess I just couldnt handle it emotionally anymore. That much I am guilty of. With that being said, once again I would like to thank everyone for their support and words of kindness. Please know that I am fine and it is time for me to move on and put this all behind me.

Larry is such a respectable and kind person.. I never got to meet him, but he always took the time to take photos and sign shit for fans..

head auto is still a great band no matter what. one person does not make the band. larry is a great drummer and i have much respect for him, and i’m pretty sure another band will pick him up or he starts his one side project. with daryl, i’m sure he has his reason and yes, he might seem arrogant at times…but honestly, can you blame him? without him, HA just wouldn’t be HA.

That’s just horrible. I’m sure Larry will do something great after this. I can’t believe Daryl is such a dick, though. It’s really sad knowing that someone you’ve idolized for so long can be such a pompous asshole. Palumbo lost a few respect points in my book… and it kills me. =[

thats shitty daryl kicked him out through management, but hell doesnt this happen to practically every band once they get a tiny bit of fame? and hearing all this garbage, i just cant see if it ever comes back, that gj will ever be the same, and thats what truely makes me sad
