New Glassjaw Song - Jesus Glue
Posted: Thursday, December 14th, 2006 in Glassjaw | Post a CommentAs reported earlier, Glassjaw will play 3 new songs on “fucking tour 2006“. Here’s the third track name…
1) (You Think You’re) John Fucking Lennon
2) Natural Born Farmer (revamped)
3) Jesus Glue
The lyrics posted on Glassjaw.com suit Jesus Glue’s title.
A Literary Giant.
Even christ wore A crown.
(She) sees the world as a fire
sees the truth As cats see the
fenceBehind a wall of momentum hides
a frown so wideA high so stern
A Fetish so public
and i repeat;
Where is the gold and who painted it?Where is the blame and who placed it?
when does the answer pose
a question bold enough that it
discovers itself? There is a messiah crawling on his knees
Among the sick and battered
needy.
Theres ships making there way
down a long line of lips.your Irony speaks many volumes
to me
A wedding ring by the sink birthed
a pothole at my feet
allow me to repent
condemn me when I speak
for the light i follow
blindly swollows souls
the souls of the wolves
(even christ wore a crown)
Let’s home the bootleggers record it.

do you have the song?
where can I find it?
there’s a GJ song called “derived of incredible movements” or something like that but I can’t remember the exactly name or the EP where it came from, but I know I have heard it, I’m not crazy.
can you help me to know which is the name?
you can write to my mail there.
many thnx,
zapata.

this isn’t jesus glue, i heard them play it twice in concert and the lyrics are nothing at all like what they played. In the jesus glue song they say “With your head in a bag you look so fucking sad”

Not “Jesus Glue, not “You think you’re John Fuckin Lennon” either.
