Today is the fifth tour date of Glassjaw’s “fucking tour 2006″. They’re in Minneapolis, MN a supporting act for the Deftones.

Glassjaw was amazing. I’ve only seen them one other time (warped tour in 2002 i think) and that didn’t even compare to last night’s performance. Every one did a hell of a job and the set was just full of energy. They opened with “You think your John fucking Lennon” and then played allot allot of Worship and Tribute songs. After looking at other setlists from the Deftones dates, I’d say they probably played the same songs. Just like the Kansas show, Daryl made it a point to say he didn’t want to talk, he just wanted to play music.

I would say the band as a whole sounds the best it ever has. Every thing was so tight and perfect. I actually prefer only one guitar. The sound was allot less busy, and we all know Beck can hold his own. I forget what song it was, but toward the end Manny was slapping the shit out of Bass; it was fucking nuts.

I guess that’s all I can really remember right now. Sorry I don’t have any pictures or video, but they had signs up all over saying no cameras and shit.
