Reggie and The Full Effect in June?

Reggie and The Full Effect

A couple of months ago, Alternative Press talked with James Dewees of Reggie and The Full Effect regarding his fifth, untitled album to be released on Vagrant Records. He also confirmed it as a double disc album, one hard and one poppy and due out in March of 2007. Unfortunately, this isn’t the case.

“We’re not sure when the album is coming out. At this point I would venture to guess early summer” says Wayne P. (spokesman for Vagrant) “maybe June. But again, nothing has been firmly established”

[…] A Reggie Push-Back? It’s being reported elsewhere that Reggie and The Full Effect’s upcoming double disc album will not come out in March as previously expected, but now, maybe in June. […]

this is and update on reggie

As of September 8th 2007 Reggie and the Full Effects website (Myspace) shows that they are unsigned and are not on any type of label. They are still listed on vagrant’s website as well. Also there is a strange link to their official website. www.reggieandthefullaffect.com (site does not exist). Also on a side note, Fluxuation’s page had been deleted altogether.

The news on the new Reggie record is that as many as two full records have already been completed but subsequently rejected by his label for being too heavy, or “not reggie like”. It is unknown whether he is working on another record for release that fits the bill for Vagrant, or perhaps an alternative. He is on tour for the rest of the year with MCR.
