2 new Geometry “Ear To The Ground” tracks
Posted: Monday, February 26th, 2007 in Other and Daryl Palumbo and Side Projects and MP3 Downloads | Post a CommentSome of Geometry’s (side project of Daryl Palumbo) album entitled “Ear To The Ground” from 2001 has been released by Scott (liquidheaven). The first two tracks are studio tracks (not like the previously released live). The other 3 are from the live recordings. Here’s what Scott had to say about it…
Ok fucknut doubters, you can fuck right off. But for those with faith and hope. I’m pleased to bring some new Geometry music.
There’s good news and bad news, which would you like first?
The good news is that there is Geometry music new to this forum.
The bad news is there are only two new tracks. The other good news is that there is a disk out there with 20 tracks but after adding these two files (for a combined total of 6) you will have everything Daryl sang on.
I guess the live stuff came from a CBGB show the band did. Jim Kimball is the main head behind the band, the rest of the cast is a rotating bunch of whoever is in town/wants to get together.
I rarred all 5 songs he sent me but only the first two are new to people that had the previous four tracks.
Major props to liquidheaven for this! Especially for the 192KB Rip.
I’ve re-uploaded the tracks so you don’t have to wait on the Megaupload servers.

Geometry is Jim Kimball based on all the songs that J-Majesty never did and some additional material. The songs you hear has me on drums except for the 1st Hard to Breath which was done by original J-Maj drummer Jamison before i join J-Majesty. that version was never intended to be a Geometry song but we all agreed why let a recording go to waste. i did a reggae pattern to our version of HTB. the rest of the songs are this line up:
daryl -vox
jim -bass
jj onthesun -guitar
kamen goddard - guitar
matt mateus - guitar
me - drums
the other songs you are not hearing are of eclectic members recorded before the line-up above was formed including Jeremy from Cub Country/Jets to Brazil singing on the same song that is track 05 on your list.

Hey now… I’m glad to supply some more new content. I’m trying to the get the full disk (whatever that may hold) but he was like “It’s not that good, don’t worry about it.” His words were that the Daryl tracks are the best.
In an additional note, James if you would be so kind. I just opened up a forum for Mickey Avalon and need some help promoting it to get it off the ground. If you could post a link or something that would be sick.

Thanks all.

The tracklisting would be really helpful! I’m not familiar with these songs at all, but I’m glad someone brought them to my attention!
