After Larry Gorman (ex Glassjaw/ex Head Automatica) was kicked out of Head Automatica, he is now in a new band called “The Black Tie Party”

Their next show will be on Cinco De Mayo (May 5th, 2007) at Bar Matchless in Brooklyn, New York.

i think its really cool and retro.. you dont have to listen or even like it if you dont want to. just because larry is in it. im sure there is an audience out there for this type of sound. i wish larry the best.

I’m not really too sure what i think… I don’t know if it is the DIY sound or what, but I guess ill have to listen to the album before judging.. Hope all goes well for Larry though.. He deserves it

Larry is the man. Glassjaw was awesome. HA’s first CD wasnt so bad….the new one is terrible. I’m not sure what happened to Daryl…I guess he forgot what good music is. Its probably better that Larry is doing his own thing now.
I will be sure to check out this new project. I hope it rocks.

larry was the best drummer i ever heard i am also a drummer myself he was unbelieable in GLASSJAW the way he played,i looked up to him alot.Theres no drummer out there like larry the beats he made was genius. i learn playing drums by larry,on cd when he played live.so yeah
